Hello from Suffolk,<\/strong><\/p>\n

I cannot believe we are in May already, but the weather has turned the corner and as I compose this newsletter the sky is a huge expanse of blue.<\/p>\n

Did you know that Suffolk is often lovingly referred to as\u00a0Constable Country<\/em>? This charming nickname comes from the world-famous landscape painter John Constable, who was born in East Bergholt, right in the heart of the county. His idyllic paintings of the Suffolk countryside\u2014think meandering rivers, rolling meadows, and thatched cottages\u2014captured the beauty of the area in the early 19th century and helped make scenes like Flatford Mill and Dedham Vale iconic.<\/p>\n

Even today, walking through this picturesque corner of England feels like stepping into one of his paintings! Often when I am on a tight schedule to finish a project I visit Flatford Mill for a countryside stroll. Just being able to slow down, soak in the scenery, and see the landscapes that inspired one of Britain’s greatest artists is a simple recipe for recharging one\u2019s batteries.<\/p>\n

THE SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS SERIES<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I have been heads down completing Book 6 in The Scottish Highlands series. With many plot threads to tie up it has taken more time to finish than predicted. But I am delighted to say that the book is now due for release on June 30th<\/sup>, 2025.<\/p>\n

THE SUNRISE COAST SERIES<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I am planning to write three books in The Sunrise Coast Series during 2025. I already have the outline for the next book. I am really looking forward to returning to Suffolk as the setting for this book and am bringing back a character \u2013 Hannah \u2013 who ran the Arts and Crafts shop.
